The Denver Broncos will send two players to the 2019 Pro Bowl. Three players were also named as alternatives for the NFL’s all-star game.

The 2019 Pro Bowl rosters have been announced. Two Denver Broncos were voted in.

It was pretty obvious that Broncos linebacker Von Miller would be named to another Pro Bowl. Miller currently has 14.5 sacks On the season, which ranks first among AFC players. This is Miller’s seventh Pro Bowl selection.

Miller broke the Denver Broncos’ all-time sack record this season, passing Simon Fletcher. He has a decent chance to become the top sack leader in the entire league for the 2018 season.

The other members of the Broncos that were named to the Pro Bowl as either as selected or alternatives were: undrafted rookie running back Phillip Lindsay (selected), No. 5 overall pick linebacker Bradley Chubb (second alternate), cornerback Chris Harris Jr. (alternate), and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. (alternate)

Lindsay ranks second in the AFC in rushing yards (991) behind the Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Mixon (995). Lindsay is averaging 5.4 yards per carry this season. Lindsay is also the very first undrafted offensive rookie to make the Pro Bowl in the history of the event.

Linebacker Bradley Chubb, who the Broncos selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2018 draft, has had a fantastic season playing alongside Von Miller. Chubb claimed the top spot in Broncos’ rookie history in terms of sacks in a season, beating Von Miller’s record.

Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was named to the 2019 Pro Bowl as the fifth alternate, but obviously will not participate after tearing his Achilles earlier in the season.

Cornerback Chris Harris Jr is the AFC’s first alternate at the cornerback position. Harris broke his leg earlier in the year. He was expected to be back for the 2018-2019 playoffs but the team did not qualify.

It remains to be seen whether or not Harris Jr will be able to attend and play in the game, but it would not be a surprise if, even if he is able to, he chooses against playing in the meaningless game.

The Pro Bowl is a tremendous honor in the eyes of a lot of the players. They get to play with members of different teams in the same conference as them, and they get to travel to Hawaii (or sometimes Orlando).

Congratulations to the Broncos players, as well as all of the other players across the league, for making the team.
