In our next edition of the Denver Broncos Fanzone, I chat with Bridget Shoemaker and get her takes on the state of the Broncos.

It is no secret that the Denver Broncos need to win on Saturday to have any hopes at reaching the postseason. There is a chance that they could be eliminated from contention if Cleveland were to come into town and get the win.

Luckily, the Browns have not won against the Broncos since 1990. With Baker Mayfield under center, it remains to be seen if that does become the case. Hopefully Case Keenum, Von Miller and the Broncos can keep their playoff hopes alive for just one more week.

It will not be an easy task, but hopefully the Denver Broncos will be able to get it done. It is going to be an intense three to four hours.

This week, I sat down with Bridget Shoemaker. Bridget is a big time Denver Broncos fan. She goes to a lot of the home games and I got to meet her back in 2016 during my first trip.

Let’s see what Bridget has to say about the Denver Broncos with just three games to go this season.

The Broncos suffered a heartbreaking loss to the San Francisco 49ers. In your opinion, what went wrong for them?

Game plan, coaching yet again, and the inability to adjust, we played a stale game and we lost two valuable leaders in both Offense and Defense. When mixed all together this lead to recipe for a horrible loss.

This loss severely hurts their playoff chances. Is there any hope that they can win the rest of the way and get some help or should the team start getting ready for next year?

There is always hope. Any given Sunday happens every Sunday. Let’s hope it’s our lucky year!

As a Denver Broncos fan, what is your favorite memory of all time?

My favorite of all time was a moment in Bronco history where I was 5 years old, it was 1977 and the Broncos had just won the AFC Championship, they were on their way to the Super Bowl. The most vivid memory was of Denver covered in Orange. I fell in love with my team and I have never looked back.

The Broncos have a short week as they play the Cleveland Browns on Saturday night. What does Denver need to do in order to secure a win and right the ship?

The Broncos must have a solid game plan with the ability to adjust. I know it’s hard to replace a player like Sanders but it has to be done if we are going to give Lindsay and the running game a chance.

The same can be said for Defense. We must find a way to let Von be Von and utilize the fullest potential of what we already have. In hindsight, last week’s game plan was awful and we need to learn from this.

Denver has dealt with a lot of injuries this season. Which one do you think has caused the biggest impact?

Hard to say which one out of so many; however, in one week we lost Chris Harris Jr, arguably the best corner in the league, and Sanders who is explosive. As well as encourages the game to be fun for the team. It was a hard blow to lose them both.

Thank You Bridget for taking the time out to chat with me. Hopefully the Broncos have one more last-ditch effort to get themselves into the playoff hunt. Go Broncos!
