Fourth Round

1st pick: Chauncey Gardner, CB, Florida

One selection after taking Amani Hooker to shore up the back end of the defense, the Broncos add yet another interesting playmaker here in round four in Florida’s Chauncey Gardner.

Gardner has been a heck of a weapon for the Gators. He’s racked up 15 tackles for loss over the past two seasons, four sacks, and seven interceptions over the last three years. The Broncos simply need more bodies at the cornerback position and Gardner has an intriguing blend of skills that can be used all over the formation.

2nd pick: Gary Jennings, WR, West Virginia

If the Broncos take Will Grier earlier in the draft, it would be amazing for them to add one of his top playmakers at West Virginia.

Jennings has been a steady target for Grier the past two seasons, but has really emerged in 2018 with 13 touchdowns and 17 yards per reception.

He looks like he has a chance to be a solid number two receiver at the next level, and could give the Broncos a dynamic trio with Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton.

Next. Comparing the impact of Case Keenum and Kirk Cousins. dark

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Broncos add a receiver before this round even, but there should be some great value on day two and three at the position given the depth of the class.
