Carlos Henderson

Carlos Henderson’s NFL career might be over.

The Broncos spent a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft on the former Louisiana Tech playmaker, and he was nothing but one off-field issue after the next with the team.

Still, upon his return late in the offseason, the Broncos gave Henderson a chance and signed him to their practice squad. He was almost immediately let go from the practice squad, however, and has yet to land with an NFL team.

Could they let bygones be bygones here? That’s highly doubtful.

But if there was ever a time when the team could find a reason or two to bring Henderson back into the fold, this would be it.

At one point or another, this front office and coaching staff believed Henderson could be a significant difference maker. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been with a football program this year and no one knows his status. Signing him off the street may not do much for the Broncos this year but if they could find a way to bring him back and get something out of him, it would be great to see.
