Kendall Wright

When Zach Azzanni broke into the NFL as a receivers coach, the first job he got was with the Chicago Bears.

In 2017, the Bears’ leading receiver was Kendall Wright, the former first-round pick out of Baylor.

Wright has not lived up to his first-round draft status. He played about 75 percent of his snaps with the Bears last season from the slot.

Over the course of his career, Wright averages 11.4 yards per reception and has 19 touchdown catches.

Despite his underwhelming career as a former first-rounder, Wright has experience in the NFL and can play around the formation, knows the Broncos’ wide receiver coach well, and is available.

If the Broncos want to go a veteran route, he could at least get a workout.
