The Denver Broncos are on a roll, and their win streak has helped them become favorites at San Francisco against the 49ers.

As the Denver Broncos continue on their win streak in hopes of making it to the postseason, oddsmakers have once again rewarded them.

Per Oddsshark.com, the Broncos are 5.5-point favorites on the road against the San Francisco 49ers. Oddshark’s “Edge Finder”, a section where oddsmakers predict who will be better at key phases of games, predicts that the  Broncos will outgain the 49ers in:

Total Score (23.00 – 21.25)
Rushing Yards (132.50 – 129.17)
Yards per Play (5.95 – 5.68)

For the 49ers, oddsmakers predict the home team to beat Denver in the following categories:

Passing Yards (234.08 – 233.17)
Time of Possession (30:28 – 28:18)
Number of Plays (63.92 – 61.50)

The Broncos have won their last three games by a combined score of 71-56. It has been one heckuva stretch of games for the team.

Denver has continued fighting each and every week. Their “one game at a time” approach has been working tremendously as of late.

The Broncos will face a young quarterback in San Francisco’s Nick Mullens. Mullens has looked pretty good during his young NFL career. He has shown sparks at times but also some struggles.

He has completed 64.5% of his passes for 1,147 yards, seven touchdowns, and five interceptions. Mullens has posted a 91.5 passer rating so far this season.

Cornerback Chris Harris Jr was injured in Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals. It turned out that Harris broke his leg. The Broncos star defender expects to be out for four weeks.

Bradley Roby steps in at the number one cornerback spot. This means that he will be tasked to cover 49ers wide receiver Pierre Garçon.

If the Broncos win enough games to make it to the postseason, the team will likely activate him. If they are eliminated, there would be no point in doing so.

Denver has looked fairly focused during their win streak. Behind running back Phillip Lindsay, who I strongly consider to be the driving force of the Broncos offense, as well as a mistake-free Case Keenum, this team has shown that they have the potential to be dangerous down the stretch.
