Chiefs @ Raiders

Graham Tiedtke

The best in the west against the worst in the west. The Kansas City Chiefs continue their stellar season in Oakland.

Kansas City played one helluva game against the Los Angeles Rams last week. It was absolutely the game of the year. This game likely will end up being the most lopsided game of the year.

Patrick Mahomes is going to rebound against the Raiders poor defense and it will almost be like the loss to the Rams never even happened.

One offensive piece the Chiefs are going to miss is running back Kareem Hunt, was released by the team on Friday after video of the running back physically abusing a woman surfaced.

Do the Chiefs score 50+ points two weeks in a row? I don’t think that is going to happen.

I do expect the Chiefs to crush Oakland, though.

The Chiefs come in to Oakland with plenty of distractions. Fresh off the Kareem Hunt news, Spencer Ware will get the start at running back.

The Raiders will look to turn their season around. Even though the records could not be more different, Oakland always seems to give Kansas City a run for their money.

It will be a close game. Mahomes will get off to his usual start, throwing two touchdowns in the first quarter. Derek Carr will surge in the 2nd quarter, and it will go down to the wire.

In the fourth quarter, Oakland will get a crucial interception and take the lead. Oakland will complete the biggest upset of the year.

The Chiefs will head to Oakland to take on the Raiders in an AFC West showdown. Normally in a division matchup, the game is close because of the rivalry, however I do not think this will be the case on Sunday. Even without Hunt, the Chiefs have plenty of offensive firepower to do some real dmage to a lack luster Oakland team.

The Raiders have been struggling all year, and are ranked in the bottom ten in overall offense and defense. Even with the Chiefs 30th ranked defense, no way can this Oakland team keep up with the high-octane offense of the Chiefs.
