Jeff Heuerman placed on injured reserve

The Denver Broncos just cannot catch a break with the tight end position this season. This time it is Jeff Heuerman that will be placed on injured reserve. Denver already lost Jake Butt to a season ending ACL tear. Now they have lost Heuerman to broken ribs and a bruised lung.

That is rough to see. It was challenging on which play he got hurt on. He left in the fourth quarter with what was reported as a back injury. The injury was far more serious than what we believed at the time.

John Elway said that he had seen enough to warrant bringing Heuerman back next season. It will be interesting to see what happens in the offseason with him.

Domata Peko has played well with Denver

Sayre Bedinger has provided us with a story on how well Domata Peko has played since he was signed by the Denver Broncos. Sunday’s game against the Bengals will be extra special for Peko as he will be returning to the queen city for the first time in his career in another uniform.

His abilities in run defense have really helped the Denver Broncos this season. He has also been a huge leader for the Broncos defense. Here is hoping that he can continue this trend and help the Broncos reach the playoffs.

Denver’s 2018 Season Scenarios

Sayre Bedinger explored the thoughts of what could happen with the Denver Broncos in these last five games. From worst case to best case, it will be entertaining to see what happens with the Broncos going forward.

Honestly, anything can happen. It helps that the Denver Broncos have a favorable schedule in the final five games. Only the Los Angeles Chargers (Week 17) have a winning record that the Broncos need to play this season. Denver has already beaten the Chargers in Carson.

It would be huge if the game against Phillip Rivers and company would be a win and you’re in situation. Anything can happen with how crazy the NFL has been this year. But it is all about looking at it one game at a time.
