Scenario 5: Win out

The best thing the Broncos can do at this point is win out. That leaves all of the best scenarios on the table and likely ends with them making the postseason.

If the Broncos are able to win 10 games, it would be their best record since they won the Super Bowl in 2015 and if they make the postseason, it will end a drought that is far too long for Broncos Country to deal with.

Winning out would mean the Broncos would (likely) enter postseason play with seven straight victories, including two wins over their division rival Chargers. They have to take each week one at a time and they cannot look ahead, or they might slip up.

The Broncos have a much better team than their record indicates. They could easily be 7-4 right now instead of 5-6. The fact of the matter is, however, that hypotheticals or what-ifs do nothing to help your playoff chances. The only thing that will get you there is winning, and the Broncos still have a chance to control their destiny, in a way.

If they can win every game from here on out, there’s a very good chance the Broncos will enter postseason play, and Vance Joseph would likely retain his job for another season with Broncos Country optimistic for the future.
