Denver Broncos: 5 stars in win over the Pittsburgh Steelers
Phillip Lindsay
Phillip Lindsay is a heck of a story.
The undrafted rookie is ready to shed the labels of his draft status and start getting recognized for the work he’s doing week in and week out.
Lindsay came to the Broncos to compete for a roster spot, and he’s ended up becoming the team’s most valuable offensive player.
On Sunday, he became the first player to rush for over 100 yards against Pittsburgh this season and set a career high with 110 rushing yards on 14 carries. Incredibly, the Broncos have only gotten Lindsay 20 or more touches in one game so far this season.
Lindsay was up to his usual tricks, showing amazing quickness, burst, speed, vision, and finishing abilities on his runs, scoring the go-ahead touchdown for the Broncos in the fourth quarter of the game.
This kid is an absolute star, and we can only imagine what he would do if the Broncos were to get him 25 or more touches in a game.
