Keep Phillip Lindsay involved

The Broncos need to stick to what they know best on offense: running the football. Rookie running back Phillip Lindsay has been phenomenal.

He has been a game-changer for this Denver team. Despite the fact that the team has won just four games this year, Lindsay has shown that he can make some really big plays.

If the Broncos could clean up some things in each of their games, their record would be quite better. They really have been one or two plays away from adding a couple more victories to their record.

This team has been snake bitten, especially last week. Even though they won, there was a questionable offensive pass interference call against Broncos receiver Tim Patrick. It did not cost them the game, but it’s stuff like that that could ruin a victory for a team like Denver.

To overcome bad plays, the Broncos need to get the ball into the hands of Lindsay. He is a hard runner and has the speed to get through to the second level of the defense or even further.

Pittsburgh is allowing 99.6 rushing yards per game, while Phillip Lindsay is averaging 67 yards per game.

Denver will need to take advantage of the fact that Steelers defensive end Stephon Tuitt is out with an elbow injury.
