On the next edition of the Denver Broncos Fanzone, I talk to Truman Walkup and get his takes on the Denver Broncos and their matchup with the Steelers.

The Denver Broncos face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. It will be a huge game for the Broncos as they look to end another long winning streak. Denver has faced off against two teams who had a winning streak longer than five games. This Sunday will mark the third team.

Pittsburgh has an electric offense. If the Broncos want to secure a win, then stopping the offense will be key. And they have the defense to do just that. It will depend if the Broncos offense can keep up if needed.

We shall see what happens with this game on Sunday. We move on to the Fanzone interview of the week. This week, I sat down with Truman Walkup to get his takes on the state of the Denver Broncos. How does he feel about this team going into Sunday? Let’s find out.

The Broncos secured a big win over the Chargers. What stood out to you in the win?

What mainly stood out to me was that the team actually finished the game. It has seemed that every loss this year (minus the Jets of course) we just failed to finish the game and ended up losing by only a score.

Denver currently sits at 4-6. Currently, they are only a game behind for the final wild card spot. Do you believe this roster can make a run?

I believe this team can very much win out and go 10-6. The only opponent that really stands in the way will be the Steelers this next week. This game is even played in Denver so I believe if the Broncos can we next week then they can win out and get a wild card spot.

As a Broncos fan, what is your favorite memory of all time?

My favorite memory of all time not counting our super bowl victories would be Broncos vs Steelers wildcard round when Tim Tebow connected to Demaryius Thomas on the very first play of overtime.

The Broncos welcome the Steelers in a critical AFC matchup. What does Denver need to do to secure the win?

In order for the Broncos to secure the win this week, they need the offense to be moving early. No three and outs for the first three possessions. An early offensive touchdown can really set the momentum the team needs to secure a win.

Which player on the Broncos roster has impressed you this season? Why?

Obviously, I’m going to go with the rookies on our team. To pick one specifically, I’d go with Phillip Lindsay. He has shown leadership and has been our main threat on our run game and offense has a whole. I’m very excited to see him more in the future.

Thank You Truman for taking the time out to chat with me. Hopefully the Denver Broncos can get a big win on Sunday.
