Bradley Chubb’s development

Bradley Chubb is developing into an all-around star.

He continues to show signs of being a more complete player, and is loading up the stat sheet every single week.

Against the Chargers, Chubb finished with seven total tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and a sack on Philip Rivers.

He’s really evolving and played a huge role in the Broncos shutting down Melvin Gordon and the Chargers’ ground game. Chubb struggled at the beginning of the season defending against the run consistently but he’s figured things out quickly and looks like the all-around star he was at North Carolina State.

As Chubb’s game has developed, the Broncos’ defense has become better and better. Since their blowout loss to the New York Jets, the Denver defense has held the Los Angeles Rams to 23 points (season low), Arizona Cardinals to 10 points, Chiefs to 30 points (yes, that’s an accomplishment), Texans to 19 points, and the Chargers to 22.

Again, as mentioned previously, the Broncos aren’t suffocating teams as they did in 2015, but they are starting to gel in run defense like they were last season, and the pass rush looks rejuvenated with Chubb’s emergence.
