Emmanuel Sanders

Last season, it was obvious the loss of Emmanuel Sanders hurt the Denver Broncos offense to go vertical or move the ball in all areas of the field. Sanders is elusive and provides a terrific route running presence separating himself from corners.

The Broncos needed him to be that guy and he’s responded very well this season. While recently, Phillip Lindsay might be the team’s MVP, Sanders’ impact cannot be overstated. Also despite the year, the Broncos are having Sanders is nearing career highs.

  • The Denver Broncos wide receiver is nearing on pace to finish with 100 catches and 1,257 yards, the second-highest total of his career. 101 receptions are his career receptions and 1,404 yards came in 2014.
  • Sanders is close to finishing in the top five of franchise history if he snags 42 catches this season. This is a very impressive feat considering his first season came with the Denver Broncos in 2014.
  • Wide receivers love 1,000+ yard receiving seasons. In fact, Sanders is 237 receiving yards away from to recording that feat for the fifth time. Also, this season of 1,000+ yards would make Sanders the fourth Denver Bronco to record four 1,000-yard receiving seasons. As for total touchdowns, either passing, rushing, or receiving, Sanders must accomplish four to tie his career high.
