Von Miller

The Broncos’ star pass rusher and franchise’s best player is racking up sacks like he’s collecting coins in Super Mario. Von Miller was drafted to be a dominant pass rusher at linebacker, but he has been beyond that in his illustrious Broncos career. Here are the records Miller reached last Sunday and will break sooner rather than later.

  • Miller is 4.5 sacks away from assuming the top spot over Simon Fletcher (97.5 sacks) as the Denver Broncos all-time sack leader. He has yet to reach the age of 30.
  • Last Sunday, Miller joined former Green Packers/Philadelphia Eagles great Reggie White and former Dallas Cowboys/Denver Bronco DeMarcus Ware as the only players to record 10 sacks in seven of his first eight seasons. Ware still has a profound impact on the growth of Miller to this day.
  • If Miller makes the Pro Bowl this year, then he will tie Randy Gradishar for the most Pro Bowls among Broncos linebackers with seven. It is highly likely Miller achieves this by the end of the season.
  • Last, but certainly not least, Miller needs one more selection to be First-Team All-Pro. He would tie Shannon Sharpe and Lionel Taylor with four for most First-Team All-Pro selections in Broncos history.
