New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady congratulated Von Miller on 100 sacks through a comment on Instagram.

From one GOAT to another, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took time on his weekend off to peruse Instagram, where he found a post from Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller.

Miller reached 100 career sacks against the Los Angeles Chargers when he took down Philip Rivers, becoming the fifth-fastest player in NFL history to reach that milestone.

Teammates and peers around the league congratulated Miller on his Instagram page, notably the Patriots future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Brady’s comment read, “Got me a few too many times (crying, rolling laughing face)…congrats”.

Miller has 7.5 sacks in eight career games (including postseason) against the Patriots, and had perhaps his most memorable performance against Brady in the 2015 AFC Championship game when he and DeMarcus Ware willed the Broncos to Super Bowl 50.

Miller thanked Brady on Instagram, adding that hopefully, he would give him a ‘few more’.

Miller’s production so far as an NFL edge player has been beyond outstanding. He’s rightfully receiving a lot of goat emoji comments from his teammates and peers because in today’s NFL, there’s no pass rusher who comes off the edge like Von Miller.

He’s truly one of a kind.

Miller not only notched his 100th career sack in this game against the Chargers, he also picked off a pass and nearly took it back for a score. Miller looked up at the scoreboard and saw Travis Benjamin closing in from behind, nearly lost the ball, regained control just in time, and was tackled setting the Broncos’ offense up with great field position.

In 2018, Miller has 10 sacks and four forced fumbles with six games yet to be played. He will continue solidifying and establishing himself as one of the best players in Denver Broncos history with every sack he gets.

In week 12, Miller will have the tall order of sacking Ben Roethlisberger, one of the toughest players in the NFL to bring down.

Roethlisberger has a plethora of weapons and the Broncos will counter with their elite one-two punch of Miller and rookie Bradley Chubb.
