Keep Rivers from having a day

The Broncos defense’s best defensive game against passers came in week seven against the Arizona Cardinals. Denver held rookie Josh Rosen to 154 yards through the air.

Of course, Phillip Rivers is not even close to a rookie anymore. In fact, this has been one of his best, if not the best season of his career since being drafted in 2004.

Rivers’ leading receiver is Keenan Allen who has 53 receptions for 687 yards and two touchdowns. However, the leading touchdown catchers for Los Angeles are Tyrell Williams and Mike Williams.

The Chargers are not lacking talent and production on offense, especially through the passing game.

The plan will be for pass rushers Von Miller and rookie Bradley Chubb to force their way to Rivers to add to their sack counts.

Miller sits at nine sacks, while Chubb has eight on the year, his first in the league.
