The Denver Broncos may not be done adding playmakers to their defensive front. Here’s a 2019 Broncos mock draft where they get an even scarier rush.

It’s never preferable for the Denver Broncos to lose games, but putting together mock drafts is a lot more fun when you’re picking high in the draft.

The Broncos finished the 2017 season with the fifth-worst record in the NFL and are on their way to another top 10 selection this year with a 3-6 record and a road matchup coming out of the bye week against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Broncos’ poor record this year is not as much a result of having a pathetic team as it was last season, but the Broncos have been unable to close the deal in a number of close games, or have been unable to make the necessary plays to seize momentum when it was on their side.

Because the Broncos could have drafted a quarterback as good or better in 2018 than the guys available in the class of 2019, taking a quarterback in round one is not a guarantee or an absolute necessity.

This year’s class of quarterbacks may be better in terms of the low risk, high reward types of players like Duke’s Daniel Jones, West Virginia’s Will Grier, or a number of other players who could be available on day two of the draft.

With that said, let’s take a look at a mock draft for the Broncos (over three rounds) that can potentially help continue to solidify the team’s foundation moving forward and perhaps give them a decent option at the quarterback position to develop.
