Washington @ Tampa Bay

I’m not sure what to think about this game. Part of me wants to believe in Fitzmagic and the other part of me wants to think last week wasn’t a fluke for Washington. With that said, the Redskins need to get back to controlling the football with Adrian Peterson. They do that, they cover easy.

Line: Tampa Bay -3

Pick: Washington

Buffalo @ New York Jets

If I have learned anything from this NFL season or from last year’s for that matter, you always bet against the Bills and you always start the defense that gets to play Nathan Peterman. In four games this season, he has thrown one touchdown, seven interceptions and been sacked seven times. Honestly, I think there are quite a few college quarterbacks who could play the position better right now.

Of note is that Sam Darnold is out, but Josh McCown is one of the top backups in the league. Honestly, I would rather have McCown than Case Keenum for the Denver Broncos at this point.

Line: New York Jets -7

Pick: New York Jets

Los Angeles Chargers @ Oakland

Something just feels off about this game. This is a game the Chargers should absolutely win and crush the Raiders, but I think Jon Gruden is going to get his team up to actually this spread.

Line: Oakland +10

Pick: Oakland

Miami @ Green Bay

It’s not very common that there is this big of a spread against a team with a winning record facing a team with a losing record, but here we are. Miami isn’t great, but they have won five games. I trust them to cover this time.

Line: Green Bay -10

Pick: Miami

Seattle @ Los Angeles Rams

The Rams finally lost a game, and it was quite an exciting contest against New Orleans. The beauty of this team though is they have the attitude. I fully believe they will not be happy when division rival Seattle comes into town.

Line: Los Angeles Rams -10

Pick: Rams

Dallas @ Philadelphia

The obvious choice here is Philadelphia, but there’s something I don’t like about the touchdown spread and the fact that the Eagles have been up and down in route to a disappointing 4-4 record. I don’t think Dallas will win but it will be closer than the spread.

Line: Philadelphia -7

Pick: Dallas

Monday, November 12

New York Giants @ San Francisco

There’s a new sheriff in town for the San Francisco 49ers and that’s Nick Mullens who had himself a game last Thursday night (albeit against the Raiders). Shannahan wasted no time naming him the starter, and I have no problem buying into a little extra magic for another game especially as the Giants have to travel across the country, which never bodes well for East Coast teams.

Line: San Francisco -3

Pick: San Francisco
