Thursday, November 8

Carolina @ Pittsburgh

Cam Newton is having one of his finest seasons this year. He has quietly thrown for 15 touchdowns to just four interceptions and the Panthers are currently sitting at 6-2. The Steelers are somehow sitting at 5-2-1 but they haven’t played like that kind of team.

Line: Pittsburgh -3.5

Pick: Carolina

Sunday, November 11

Detroit @ Chicago

This will be a huge game for the Bears to show they are a legitimate contender in the NFC. The Lions are not good this year, but they still have a franchise quarterback in Matt Stafford, and they are an NFC North rival. Chicago will win, but Detroit will cover.

Line: Chicago -6.5

Pick: Detroit

Arizona @ Kansas City

Do not bet on this game. 16.5 point spread is crazy. With that said, I do believe Kansas City’s offense will be too much for Arizona and poor Josh Rosen is in for a world of hurt against a strengthening Chief’s pass rush.

Line: Kansas City -16.5

Pick: Kansas City

New England @ Tennessee

I am pretty much going to always bet on Tom Brady from here on out.

Line: Tennessee +6.5

Pick: New England

New Orleans @ Cincinnati

New Orleans is good, but they are giving up 5.5 points on the road? I think the Bengals will keep it closer than 5.5 points.

Line: Cincinnati +5.5

Pick: Cincinnati

Atlanta @ Cleveland

Baker Mayfield is due for a big day, and it makes all too much sense to come against a Falcon secondary that is one of the worst in the leagues. Baker is about to get a big win at home.

Also, random thought, but can you imagine Baker in a Denver Broncos uniform? It’s quite unfortunate that the Browns finally got it right this year when the Denver Broncos had a chance at getting their franchise quarterback.

Line: Cleveland +5.5

Pick: Cleveland

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis

This line would be insanity at the beginning of the season, but here we are with the Jaguars currently 3-5 and in last place in the AFC South. They don’t lack talent on defense though, and I would be worried if I am Andrew Luck and the Jaguars finally flipped the switch.

Line: Indianapolis -3

Pick: Jacksonville
