Prediction

This game truly is a toss up. Denver comes in as a 1.5-point favorite. It has not been often this season that the Broncos are the favorites according to the Vegas line. Looking at all of the ranks of the teams as a team on defense, I can see this being a defensive game. I would not be surprised to see a low scoring game.

What Denver needs to do to win the game is run the ball and run it well. It will keep the chains moving and keep the Texans offense off the field. Gassing out a Texans defense that is in the top ten in most of the major categories will be important.

Demaryius Thomas might be on the other side of the sidelines and on the field, but this is a must win for the Denver Broncos. A loss all but assures that Denver will likely miss the playoffs for the third straight season.

I believe Phillip Lindsay will have a solid game and the defense will rattle Deshaun Watson a couple times in the game. Desperate teams play their best football at times. Let’s hope that they do not end up falling flat on their faces.
