Two of the three teams in the NFL with just one victory meet when the Oakland Raiders visit the San Francisco 49ers for Thursday Night Football.

The Raiders have scored 138 points while giving up 218. San Francisco has scored 173 points while giving up 236.

San Francisco lost quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a torn ACL earlier in the year. CJ Beathard has been the starting quarterback since the injury to Jimmy G. But word has come out that Beathard sustained a wrist injury and could miss the game on Thursday.

If Beathard is unable to play, the 49ers would go with third-stringer Nick Mullens. A third-string quarterback on a short week? I realize that they are facing the Raiders, who are a pretty bad football team, but I can’t see the 49ers winning this one, even at home.

We are heading into the month of November and week 9 with a snooze-fest in San Francisco. The (1-6) Oakland Raiders will be visiting the (1-7) 49ers.

The only bright spot in this game will be watching the 49ers’ 2nd placed rushing attack in the league. Both teams have bottom end defenses with the Raiders taking a slight edge, however, the Raiders just cannot score this year.

After trading away Amari Cooper, I really cannot see the Raiders doing any sort of damage. For this one, I expect San Fran to run the ball up the Raiders’ throat and just grind the game away while stuffing the Oakland attack.
