DaeSean Hamilton

The weapon the Broncos have yet to truly unleash this season is slot receiver DaeSean Hamilton.

Hamilton will not be limited to only slot reps, but with Thomas now in Houston, he will likely take over that slot role when the Broncos are in three-wide sets, perhaps switching at times with Emmanuel Sanders.

Hamilton became known for his route running abilities at Penn State, but what was perhaps the most underrated part of his game is his ability to gain yardage after the catch.

Hamilton’s ability to create separation with his stellar route running combined with his YAC potential has Broncos fans ready for more. I even wrote earlier this season that Hamilton should start getting reps over Thomas.

The Broncos will have to wait for Hamilton to fully recover from a minor knee injury he suffered against the Arizona Cardinals, but when he is ready for action, he’s going to be a major threat out of the slot.
