Brandon Marshall
Why he could be traded
The Broncos have a rare rookie class full of players ready to contribute and play immediately. One of those rookies ready to play now is fourth-round pick Josey Jewell, who played some extensive snaps this past week against the Chiefs.
Brandon Marshall has struggled some with injuries this season and a bit of inconsistency, but he has a strong track record in the NFL.
For the Broncos, trading Marshall would be beneficial because it would free up a bunch of cap space ($5 million in 2019, $7.5 million in 2020) and give Jewell a chance to get more and more snaps every week.
Who could trade for him?
The Broncos could trade Marshall to a team like Seattle, who is contending for the NFC West. They could also trade him to the Patriots, who need some help at the off-ball linebacker positions.
