The Denver Broncos fell to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. What all went wrong as Denver earned its fifth loss of the 2018 season already?

The Denver Broncos came into Sunday’s matchup against Kansas City as 9.5-point underdogs. They were defeated by seven. It was their second loss to the Chiefs this season and their fifth loss of the 2018 season.

Over the course of the first eight games of the season, there have been ups and downs. Unfortunately, as is the case with a team that has more losses than wins, there are more downs than ups.

The amount of losing the Broncos have endured over the course of the last two seasons has been very frustrating.

It has been infuriating.

On offense, there have been two constant positives: undrafted rookie running back Phillip Lindsay and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

Lindsay ran the football 18 times for 95 yards and a score against the Chiefs.

Sanders caught four passes (tied for the team lead with two other players) and 57 yards (second to only rookie Courtland Sutton, who had 78 yards).

On defense, outstanding linebacker Von Miller and rookie first-round linebacker Bradley Chubb both had half a sack. It is good news that Chubb has shown up

Unfortunately, at the end of the day, a loss is a loss. Here are things that went wrong for the Broncos in the loss to Kansas City.
