Phillip Lindsay is awesome (confirmed)

In case anyone was questioning this absolute fact, Denver Broncos rookie running back Phillip Lindsay is awesome.

In case you also forgot and haven’t heard it on any of the eight broadcasts yet this season, he’s also all of the following:

  • 5-foot-7
  • Undrafted
  • From Colorado (college)
  • From Colorado (home state)

All kidding aside, Lindsay was once again incredible to the tune of 112 yards from scrimmage (95 rushing) and a touchdown (the first score of the game for either team). Lindsay filled in ably for starter Royce Freeman who was out of this game with an ankle injury.

The Broncos schemed to get Lindsay the ball a bit more as a receiver in this game and that intentionality paid off.

Lindsay is solidifying himself as a star in this league.
