Will Parks

Injured player: Darian Stewart

The Broncos’ safety position hasn’t been as good this season as many had hoped considering the number of starting caliber players they had available prior to the start of training camp.

With Jamal Carter, Su’a Cravens, Dymonte Thomas, and now Darian Stewart all hurt, the pressure is going to be on Will Parks to prove his game against the Arizona Cardinals was no fluke.

Parks played 60 snaps for the Broncos against Arizona and looked excellent.

In addition to being a weapon the Broncos can move around the field, Parks is one of the surest tacklers on the team with just one missed tackle so far this season, contrasted by the six missed tackles so far this season by Stewart, who he is replacing on Sunday.

Parks has a chance to solidify his role as a starter in Denver’s defense, which badly needs a player like him on the back end of the secondary.

I’m expecting Parks to play a key role if the Broncos are going to shut down Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes.
