Predominantly Orange writer Baylor Bradac and I predict the AFC West matchups this week, including the Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs.

Week seven of the 2018 NFL season saw the three AFC West teams who played come out with a victory.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Arizona Cardinals in a convincing outcome. Quarterback Case Keenum went 14/21 passing for 161 yards, one touchdown and one interception. It was not a bad day for the Broncos’ starter by any means.

Unfortunately it was just the Cardinals, who are 1-of-4 teams with just one victory on the season. But now the team faces a much tougher task, heading into Arrowhead to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last week, the Los Angeles Chargers faced the Tennessee Titans in London. It was a game that came down to the wire, with the Chargers coming out on top 20-19.

The Kansas City Chiefs demolished the Cincinnati Bengals with the same score as the Broncos beat the Cardinals: 45-10. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was dominant once again, going 28/39, 358 passing yards, four touchdowns and just one interception. Running back Kareem Hunt ran 15 times for 86 yards and a score.

The AFC West currently stands as follows:

1. Kansas City Chiefs (6-1)
2. Los Angeles Chargers (5-2)
3. Denver Broncos (3-4)
4. Oakland Raiders (1-5)

Now, let’s dive into this week’s AFC West predictions, which include just two games. The Los Angeles Chargers, after playing in London last week, will be on a bye.
