Very rarely do I endorse deals with the devil, but the opportunity to pawn off Brandon Marshall’s contract to a team that could use his services — even the Patriots — is something the Broncos have to consider.

Marshall’s play has seemingly declined to the point that it makes no sense for the team to keep Josey Jewell on the sideline. Marshall is a mostly effective player, but he seemed to benefit greatly from the great talent around him from 2013-2016.

Being put in a position where he is one of the ‘stars’, Marshall hasn’t played as well as the Broncos would have hoped.

The Patriots’ 2019 draft assets are a bit depleted, but the Broncos would probably gladly accept a future 5th round pick if they could get it.

Marshall would be a good fit in Bill Belichick’s defense, too.
