I loved this idea from fellow Predominantly Orange writer Graham Tiedtke, who suggested DT could reunite with Adam Gase and Brock Osweiler in Miami.

The Dolphins may have just lost star receiver Albert Wilson for the season. DeVante Parker has failed to live up to first-round expectations. Ryan Tannehill is struggling through injury (again).

Yet somehow, the Dolphins are 4-3 and actually looking competitive this season. If they have a chance at the AFC East or even a Wild Card spot, why not make a move for Demaryius Thomas when you can very clearly afford it?

The Dolphins did just work  to rid themselves of some bad contracts, but Thomas has digestible base salary numbers and they could get out of his contract after this year if things just don’t work out at all.

This is a move that could keep the ‘Phins in contention all year and the price of a third-round pick is fair value to the Broncos for a 30-year old receiver who can still play at a high level.
