The Denver Broncos could be really active at the 2018 NFL trade deadline. Here are seven ideas for trades they could look to make.

The Denver Broncos’ matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Kansas City on Sunday could determine whether they are buyers or sellers at the 2018 NFL trade deadline.

Even if the Broncos are not ‘tanking’ this season, they have reasons to trade some of their veteran players with big contract numbers as they move into a new era for the franchise with young players finally proving themselves capable of making an impact on a week-to-week basis.

We took a look at some of the players on the Broncos’ roster who could be drawing some interest around the league. One of those players is wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who has been with the team since he was drafted into the league back in 2010.

As one of the longest-tenured Broncos and a player who has given the franchise — and the city of Denver — so much, parting ways would be very difficult for both sides, but it might be for the best. There are some really sensible destinations for Thomas and Miami, with Adam Gase, seems like an awesome fit on paper.

There are also some players the Broncos should avoid trading away this year, as they can be part of the nucleus and new foundation of the team and don’t have prohibitive contracts.

That said, it’s always fun to look at hypothetical situations. What trades could the Broncos be involved in? Let’s take a look at a few scenarios in which they are both buying and (mostly) selling.
