San Francisco 49ers

The first team that could use Thomas is relatively close to Denver, so it wouldn’t be a terribly long trip for the receiver.

The 49ers could boost their receiving core with Thomas. The 49ers are projected to have $69,861,382 in salary cap money in 2019. That should give the team a decent enough amount of room to negotiate a long-term deal with Thomas.

San Francisco’s leading receiver is a tight end, George Kittle, who leads the team with 32 receptions, 527 yards and is second on the team with just two touchdowns.

The 49ers lost starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a torn ACL early on and have been rolling with an inexperienced young guy in CJ Beathard.

Giving Beathard a true veteran receiver to have as a target would absolutely make that team a lot better. Thomas would be the second-oldest receiver on the team, behind Pierre Garçon.

There have been a lot of great players to pass through the Bay Area throughout the years. Sending Thomas to San Francisco would add another great weapon and give the team a better shot at beating their division rivals, Seattle and Los Angeles, in years to come.
