Darian Stewart, S

The Broncos have not gotten the same type of production out of Darian Stewart the past couple of seasons they saw in his first two years with the team (2015-16) and now have some viable options on the roster to potentially take over some of his snaps.

Specifically, the Broncos are about to get Su’a Cravens back off of injured reserve, and Will Parks has been getting a bit more playing time as the season has progressed.

Trading Stewart could be difficult because of his current health status, but some team would probably be able to get him for a late-round draft pick and less than $3 million against their salary cap this season.

The Broncos would take on almost $3 million in dead money beyond 2018, but they are going to have to make some of these difficult decisions in the offseason so they might as well get value for these players while they can instead of cutting them and taking dead money hits without getting anything in return.

Stewart has played in some big games and has proven he can work well in a talented secondary.
