The Denver Broncos are not in a position where they have to make a bunch of moves, but they could be active in selling at this year’s trade deadline.

The Denver Broncos are 3-4 and approaching a huge road game against the Kansas City Chiefs at the midway point of the 2018 season.

As the Broncos approach what appears to be the biggest game of the season, they are also approaching the NFL’s trade deadline with no clear path to take.

Is the team going to buy or sell?

Even though 3-4 is not within ‘tanking’ range, the Broncos could do a little of buying and selling at the trade deadline, but it would be far more likely to see this team deal some big-name players than bring anyone in from the outside.

One player whose name is now being thrown around is Demaryius Thomas, who is drawing interest around the league.

With two teams currently ahead of them in the standings, the Broncos face an uphill battle for the AFC West and are even in a tight race right now for a wild-card spot. There’s so much that can play out between now and the end of the regular season but if the Broncos ultimately can’t beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, we could see a small scale fire sale in Denver.

Which players would be available, and why? Let’s take a look.
