Emmanuel Sanders

Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders continues to be the go-to guy for quarterback Case Keenum.

Sanders recorded his second consecutive 100-yard game, and third on the season. This time, he caught six passes for 102 yards and a touchdown reception.

Sanders was in the zone on Thursday. So much so that he even threw a pass to rookie receiver Courtland Sutton in the end zone for a score on a trick play.

Sanders’ performances this season have been extraordinary. He proves that where you are drafted does not matter.

Despite Keenum’s struggles this season, Sanders has been very reliable.

The Broncos need to continue leaning on their star wide receiver but also get other receivers involved. Rookies Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton are poised for great futures in the NFL and having Sanders as a mentor is great for the young guys.

It is encouraging to know that the Broncos—and Keenum—are confident in Sanders. Now, the team just needs to continue giving the ball to him, in any way they can. It’s clear that he can run, catch, and even pass the football.

They won’t do it every game, but having a weapon like that has the potential to be very dangerous.
