Broncos vs. Cardinals: Week Seven Preview
By Tylor Walden
Prediction
The Denver Broncos really need to end this slump. This could be the last chance that the team has to salvage the season. If they cannot win against the Arizona Cardinals, you might as well put a fork in them.
With the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead and the Houston Texans ahead, they will need to win at least two of their final three games if they are going to have an outside shot at getting back into the playoffs.
Luckily, the AFC is not as strong as it has been in the past. But Denver needs to take the opportunities it can get. And it all starts with this quick turnaround against the Arizona Cardinals.
Vance Joseph could also be playing for his job. If the Broncos do not get a win here, expect to see a firing happen before Kansas City. It could be Joe Woods, it could be Vance Joseph. At this point, we have no idea what will happen.
With that said, I believe Von Miller’s vote of confidence could boost the morale of a team that could really use some at this time. They are already halfway to the losing streak they had last year. But going up against a rookie quarterback on a rebuilding Cardinals team could be exactly what the doctor ordered.
