Injuries

Denver Broncos:

LG Ron Leary (Achilles) Out for Season

CB Adam Jones (thigh) OUT

EDGE Shane Ray (ankle/wrist) OUT

OT Jared Veldheer (knee) OUT

S Dymonte Thomas (Chest) OUT

Arizona Cardinals:

S Tre Boston (shoulder/ribs) OUT

OG Mike Iupati (back) OUT

OG Jeremy Vujnovich (hamstring) OUT

OG Justin Pugh (hand) Questionable

CB Jamar Taylor (back) Questionable

As we knew back on Monday, the Broncos lost a key part to the offensive line as Ron Leary will be forced to miss the remainder of the season with an Achilles injury. The team has yet to place him on injured reserve, so that move could be coming soon. If not before the game, then during the team’s mini bye.

Denver will only have three edge rushers this week, for the time being, with Shane Ray missing Thursday’s game. Denver will be short in the secondary with the absence of Adam Jones and Dymonte Thomas.

Veldheer and Leary’s injuries means that Max Garcia will play in place of Leary and Billy Turner will get another start at right tackle.

For the Cardinals, the biggest injury, in my opinion, is Tre Boston. That could play a big part in the Broncos attack on offense. It also does not help having two guards out and another questionable. Denver’s pass rush and run defense could thrive.
