Titans vs Chargers (London)

Graham Tiedtke

The NFL continues to send teams across seas. This time, the Tennessee Titans play the Los Angeles Chargers there.

Los Angeles is a 6.5-point favorite against Tennessee.

It starts with the Chargers’ very good offense. They have weapons like quarterback Phillip Rivers. Melvin Gordon leading the way on the ground is also a huge advantage. They also have Tyrell Williams and Keenan Allen to catch Rivers’ passes.

The combination of Rivers and Gordon is deadly. It is always difficult to defend against a star quarterback. It makes it ten times tougher to defend against a quarterback when the team has multiple weapons.

On the Chargers defense, the team remains without defensive end Joey Bosa. Fortunately for the team, they have been doing fine without him.

I expect it to be the same situation in London Sunday.

Sunday starts early this week with a Chargers (4-2) and Titans (3-3) matchup across the pond.

LA is coming into this game with the fifth-ranked offense in the league. Philip Rivers and Melvin Gordon are having excellent starts to their year. This week, they will be up against a solid defense in Tennessee. The Titans, sitting at .500, need to find a way to get their offense going if they want any shot at a win this weekend.

LA has a pretty solid defense that has been causing turnovers and problems in the backfield this year against every team they play. The Tennessee offense is only averaging 262 yards per game and should be a field day for the Charger defense. This should be a solid win for LA.
