The Denver Broncos return home to welcome the red-hot and undefeated Los Angeles Rams. I take a look at the key matchups and provide all the info here.

Week five was one to forget for the Denver Broncos. It once again proved that the East Coast just is not kind for the Broncos. An alarming stat after the game just showed how poorly Denver has done on the road since Vance Joseph took over as head coach.

In the last ten road games, the Denver Broncos have lost nine of those games. Their only road win since Joseph became the head coach was a Thursday night game against the Indianapolis Colts. According to Mike Klis, the nine road losses Denver have suffered have been by an average of close to 17 points.

That is quite alarming and has Broncos Country cringing at the prospect of going on the road. Luckily, the Broncos are coming back home. But it will not be an easy task. Wade Phillips makes his return to Denver for the first time since 2016. And the Los Angeles Rams are coming in as one of the two remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.

This would have also been the return of Aqib Talib, who was traded to the Rams before free agency began back in March. However, he suffered a bad ankle injury against the Chargers that forced the Rams to place him on Injured Reserve. He is still a little over a month away from returning.

Can the Denver Broncos be the surprise team in week six? It certainly will not be easy. But I will dive into the game.
