Denver Broncos: Predominantly Orange’s week six primer
By Andrew Wade
Sit ’em
Here are the guys you should not be starting this weekend.
Case Keenum
You simply can’t trust Keenum at this time. He has only thrown touchdowns in two games this year, but has had an interception in all five. Most fantasy owners have probably dropped Keenum at this point but if you’re one of the few that has him, keep him on the bench.
Projection: 250 yards, one touchdown, one interception.
Rams D
The Rams defense was all the hype in the off-season with the additions of Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters, and Ndamukong Suh. However, they’ve given up an average of 28 points per game the last three contests. Expectations are the Broncos will be playing catch-up and possible garbage time points may hurt the Rams D in fantasy.
Projection: 24 points allowed, one turnover.
Demaryius Thomas
Last week I projected Thomas to have a good day in fantasy and it paid off. Thomas finished with 105 yards and a touchdown, finishing with 16 fantasy points in standard leagues. This week the expectations should be tempered. The main reason will be more snaps for Courtland Sutton and Daesean Hamilton. Both flashed why they are a big part of the Broncos future plans. Thomas will have a decrease in production.
Projection: Seven catches, 50 yards.
