Darian Stewart, S

Darian Stewart was, unfortunately, the one credited with giving up the two-yard touchdown toss to Travis Kelce on what amounted to a screen play, but he needs to be better regardless of whether or not he was wrongfully singled out in that situation.

Even without that play, Stewart has to be better than he has been. He’s been fine in coverage over the past two games for the most part but has four missed tackles in the Broncos’ two losses and five missed tackles overall on the season.

Stewart’s play seems to have been on a slow decline since he originally signed with the Broncos in 2015 and played extremely well. He has made some big plays over the past four years in Denver but with all the changes in Denver’s secondary, Stewart has to be better and put himself in better position to make plays on the ball.

He’s also got to be more of a sure tackler, apparently.

He’s only given up four receptions so far this season in coverage, but two of those catches went for touchdowns.
