The Denver Broncos are in an odd situation here. Marquette King is more than likely not going to play. This means that Colby Wadman will likely be called up Friday night or Saturday to punt for the Broncos. The bigger issue here is that the Broncos will need to file a corresponding move.

That brings up a big question. Does the team release another player or place King on IR? During Friday’s meeting with the media, Vance Joseph said he would meet with John Elway to discuss it. His injury could explain the lack of boom in his punts lately.

With Jared Veldheer out, BIlly Turner will be starting at right tackle. He has performed well this season, so we will see what he can do. Veldheer was injured in the Monday night game against the Chiefs.

The Jets are banged up in the secondary. This could be good news for Case Keenum, who needs a bounce back performance after three straight mediocre or subpar performances.
