Broncos/Jets Fantasy

Start

Demaryius Thomas-

Thomas hasn’t been much of a factor in fantasy football this season and is on pace for only 672 yards and four touchdowns. While it’s been bleak early on the targets have been encouraging and I’m expecting a good game out of Thomas against the Jets. Thomas has been the leading receiver the last three games against the Jets accounting for 20 catches, 254 yards, and two touchdowns in those match-ups. I’m willing to say he’ll continue doing well against the Jets. Projection- Seven catches, 80 yards, one touchdown.

Bilal Powell-

Isaiah Crowell has outscored Powell four to one early on but Powell has been more of a threat in the passing game. For that reason Powell is the start for me this week. Monday night the Broncos allowed 54 yards to Kareem Hunt through the air on only three catches. The Broncos have done a better job this season against the running backs but the opportunities are still there. Powell will get plenty of touches and could make the most of them. Projections- 70 total yards, one touchdown.

Phillip Lindsay-

Not only has Lindsay been electric on the field, he’s also been effective in your fantasy roster. Although Royce Freeman is the better pure runner Lindsay has out-touched him in nearly every game. Lindsay hasn’t contributed as much in the pass game as expected but the Jets provide the opponent to get back on track. The Jets have allowed an average of 48 yards receiving to running backs four yards more than the league average (According to ESPN). Lindsay’s success should continue and make the 31 other teams upset that they didn’t pick him up. Projection- 120 Total yards, one touchdown.
