Fantasy Football studs for the Broncos game

Who should you start and who should you leave on your bench for the Monday night AFC West matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs? Here are your Monday Night Football studs.

Studs

Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes is on a hot streak like we haven’t seen before. While I don’t see a four-touchdown performance Monday night he will rack up fantasy points against the Broncos secondary which has struggled in the early going. I see a close game that will go down to the wire but not a shootout.

Projections – 275 yards, two touchdowns.

Travis Kelce

Mahomes and Kelce are starting to build a strong rapport and that’s scary for the Denver defense. The Broncos can’t find an answer to stopping tight ends from getting open and Kelce is one of the very best. “Fake Gronk” as Von Miller referred to him affectionately in 2016 has repeatedly beaten up the Broncos. Until they can prove they have an answer bet on Kelce.

Projections – seven catches, 90 yards, one touchdown.

Case Keenum

The Chiefs defense has given up two 400 yard passing games in three games. Along with that they’ve also given up eight touchdowns and have only one interception. Keenum has been up and down in all three games but a match-up against one of the worst passing defenses should help. There are other weapons like Emmanuel Sanders who could benefit from the match-up but Keenum will gain the most.

Projections- 300 Yards, three touchdowns.
