Thoughts on last game and Case Keenum

The Denver Broncos suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday. In your thoughts, what exactly went wrong in the game?

We have had three glaring issues the past couple of years – we mentally beat ourselves up, we fall into predictable play calling, and we cannot cover a tight end. In Baltimore we were mentally beat once the td was called back. Last year the team was admitting they cannot face a deficit. While there have been glimmers of hope on this issue especially with coming from behind against Oakland, we completely fell apart Sunday.

Even CHJ is showing frustration at our defensive scheme unable to stop a pass. This is a defense once nicknamed “The No Fly zone” Joe Woods had had plenty of opportunity to address this but hasn’t.  And this leaves little hope that offensives like KC won’t just rout us.

Through the first three games, Case Keenum has thrown three touchdowns to five interceptions. He only threw seven interceptions all last season. Are his early mistakes a cause for concern or is it just early season jitters?

Mistakes are always a cause for concern.  It’s hopeful it’s an adjustment period with a new team.
