Denver’s defense will shut down the Chiefs high powered offense

Combined the defense will have five sacks and two defensive turnovers. After the dismissal display in Baltimore, Denver’s defense has some redemption in store. The ground defense is ranking better than the pass coverage, and that hasn’t happened in a while. Plus, with some of the questionable play calling in the last game, this give the Broncos defense an added spark, which could very well give them the edge over Mahomes and his offense.

The defense has been badly beaten with injuries, especially at cornerback, but the Broncos have had some time to adjust to get restructured. If everyone starts stays in the game this will be the Broncos best offensive and defensive game we’ve seen under Coach Vance Joseph’s reign. Plus, the Chiefs have won five straight against the Broncos, so the entire team is ready for redemption.

The Broncos haven’t won a game against the Chiefs since week two of the 2015 season in a Thursday night thriller. What better time for redemption than Monday night at Mile High? Denver is long over due for a win against Kansas City. This could very well be the perfect opportunity to get a statement win.

Let’s see if these predictions come true on Monday night. Let’s go Broncos!
