Jake Butt suffers torn ACL, out for the year

As I wrote on earlier, the Denver Broncos lost one of their tight ends for the 2018 season. Jake Butt was having a promising season. However, he suffered the injury during practice for the Kansas City Chiefs. He did have this to say following the injury:

It is good to hear that he will return to playing football. It is tough knowing that the Broncos have to wait another year to see his true potential. We are wishing you the best in your recovery Jake Butt.

Von Miller on a snap count?

Sayre Bedinger wrote a story earlier this week about the possibility of Von Miller being placed on a snap count. Some of Broncos Country were wondering why the Super Bowl 50 MVP was on the sidelines for quite  a bit of the game.

There are a lot of things that I agree with him on this front. For a game as huge as the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos need to utilize Von Miller as much as they can.

Is Su’a Cravens close to returning?

Graham Tiedtke provided us this week on an update regarding safety Su’a Cravens. He was placed on injured reserved with the possibility of returning after eight weeks.

According to the story, and his update, he could be back to full strength soon. It will certainly be needed as the Broncos have had trouble defending tight ends this season. A safety who can do the job of a linebacker and cover the tight end will be welcomed.
