Injury Report

For the Denver Broncos, the team suffered a huge loss at the tight end position. As was reported earlier, Jake Butt suffered a torn ACL during practice. It marks the end of his season. That is a very difficult injury for him to face. He suffered an ACL tear in the final game of his college career and missed his entire rookie season. Two ACL tears in a little over a year and a half is clearly devastating.

Denver also did not have Tramaine Brock at practice as he is dealing with a thigh injury. Key players such as Brandon Marshall (knee), Adam Jones (thigh), and Shelby Harris (ankle) were limited due to their injuries.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, Eric Berry (heel), Dee Ford (groin), and Terrance Smith (shin) were held out of Thursday’s practice. Justin Houston also did not practice, but it was likely a veteran rest day for him as he was listed as not injury related.
