Garett Bolles, OT

I said it during the game, but Garett Bolles may have played his worst game as a pro against the Ravens on Sunday.

Bolles allowed five total pressures against the Ravens, gave up his first sack of the season and had two really ugly penalties. One of those penalties was Case Keenum’s fault, but Bolles simply has to be better.

He acknowledged as much after the game, vowing to play better in week four.

As bad as Bolles played in this game, however, no one should be in alignment with this terrible opinion from former Broncos offensive lineman Mark Schlereth, who has been one of the biggest knee-jerk critics in the Denver media.

Bolles played two really good games to start off the season, allowing just two pressures in those two games combined. He struggled with Terrell Suggs off the edge in this game and the combination of Suggs and Case Keenum’s tendency to hold onto the ball too long was a recipe for disaster.

Bolles must avoid playing this poorly again at all costs.
