The Rest

Phillip Lindsay, RB

Lindsay was well on his way to another impactful performance as the team’s number two back, primary kickoff returner, and primary punt returner, but was incorrectly thrown out of the game after allegedly ‘throwing punches’.

Lindsay discussed his ejection after the game:

The officials’ decision to eject Lindsay was one in a number of bad decisions on Sunday, and it really affected the outcome on Denver’s side of things. Lindsay was averaging five yards per carry again, and wasn’t able to be targeted in the passing game.

Grade: Incomplete

DaeSean Hamilton, WR

Once again, DaeSean Hamilton made his impact on special teams but with the departure of Lindsay in the second quarter, Hamilton was actually able to do some things with the ball in his hands as a punt returner.

He was solid catching and returning punts, taking his three punt returns for a total of 31 yards (10.3 per return) but wasn’t targeted again in the passing game this week. That has to change very soon.

Keishawn Bierria, LB/ST

Bierria continues to be used strictly on special teams, where he has yet to make any glaring errors or any spectacular plays. He’s doing a good enough job to be on the gameday roster over more talented defensive players like DeMarcus Walker.

Grade: Incomplete
